Temple Baptist School, a ministry of Temple Baptist Church, offers a quality academic education in a spiritual atmosphere. “Our mission is to equip our students academically and spiritually for a life of service for the Lord Jesus Christ.” Students in grades K3 through 12th grade are taught by trained educators, most of whom have master’s degrees. Our teachers not only have the academic credentials, but also have a passion to teach children, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to provide the students with not only an academic education, but also purpose to assist parents in instilling biblical values as a basis for character development.
ODACS
Temple students in grades 4 -12 have earned many academic awards in the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools(ODACS) in elementary, junior high, and senior high competition. The average American College Testing (ACT) composite score for our college bound upper classmen is a 24.
Environment
Temple Baptist School has modern facilities, including a beautiful gym facility, a new computer lab and a new oak paneled library. Music and language is taught in kindergarten, elementary and in the secondary.
Accreditation
Temple Baptist School is a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), and the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools (ODACS). The school is accredited by the North American Christian School Accrediting Association (NACSAA), and the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE).
